Tanice Donaldson

Tanice Donaldson is a dedicated Educator, advocate, and parent, bringing over 20 years of expertise in non-profit leadership, coaching, program development and community engagement. Tanice developed a deep, personal commitment to social justice issues early in her career, and this has fueled her passion for creating safe, nurturing spaces that support children, youth and families in diverse circumstances. 

Tanice is a registered Early Childhood Educator with an Honors degree in Educational Studies (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion). Tanice has additional certifications in Mental Health and substance use, trauma-informed care, social-emotional learning and self-regulation. Throughout her career, she has held various impactful roles, including Executive Director, Crisis responder, group facilitator and College Instructor. Tanice’s work has focused on promoting inclusion, belonging, and equitable practices. She has collaborated with school boards, community agencies and all levels of government utilizing Anti-Racism and Anti-Oppression frameworks to advocate for systemic change.

As a coach, Tanice partners with administrators and families to create environments of belonging, offering individualized support and strategies tailored to the unique needs of the individuals. Her coaching reflects her belief in the power of inclusive practices and empathetic listening to foster meaningful relationships and a sense of community.

Tanice’s commitment to social justice, equity, and inclusion is evident in every aspect of her life and with pride, she applies the African philosophy of Ubuntu, “I Am Because We Are,” to her work, which emphasizes the importance of collective well-being over individual gain.
